Study Buddies
In our 2nd grade classroom, I use a study buddy model. Study Buddies are meant to give each child a go-to friend - or two- for academic, social, and emotional support. We read the stories Same Same But Different and The Same But Different Too to think about ways we are the same and ways we are different from our study buddies. We also thought about all the ways Study Buddies can support one another.
